I Don’t Know What To Sell

Warning, this article talks a lot about myself and my own experience to achieve success. Sorry if I sound a bit narcissitic, it is not my purpose! Enjoy :)

My life has changed a lot during the last year.

I left the box of the society, I stopped to foolishly follow the path that people wanted me to take. Instead, I decided to follow my heart, to follow my dreams, and to start being alive.

During the last year, I changed. Which totally disturb my mind and the way I used to think.

I took many crazy and big decisions, but my brain still needs to adapt itself to this type of life.

I am writing this article because something is happening more and more since the end of the year 2017. I am experiencing the sensation of being lost and overwhelmed, as I talked about it in another article.

This sensation, I think, happens much more than ever because my brain is trying to find a way to reach my crazy goals.

I am always thinking about what should I do, and how should I do it. What is the best way to have this, how to become that, how to find the solutions.

I still don’t really know what I want to do, not because I have no ideas but because I have too many ideas.

What I am sure about is that I have knowledge. Not a lot, but still enough to start something big. So I have to find ways to express this knowledge into a valuable product, something that people desire.

But I still don’t know what product, I still need to find the conteiner.

And here is how I plan to find it:

1. Finding a mentor

This is how I should start, by finding a mentor.

Having a mentor is the best way to learn and to be taught the things you don’t know or don’t see yet.

But the big and hardest task is to find the right one. Which seems to be pretty difficult, to be frank with you.

It is for many reasons.

I have to reach out someone who’s probably very busy with a full schedule, so engaging a conversation and knowing where to contact this person is a big one.

I also need to kind of pitch myself and asking interesting question. I have to bring value into what I say, what I desire, and what I give back to this person. Which is a big task for me because I have to learn how to do so from the beginning.

And this leads to the second part of the plan.

2. Knowing myself

I am the only one who can know what I want in my life.

I have to truly understand who I am and where I want to go in order to find the right mentor, and ask the right questions to him/her.

And it requires a lot of self-awareness, a lot of work on myself in order to be true and understand my own thought and feelings.

Even if it looks easy, it is totally not easy because at some point I am too pride to say to myself what are my weaknesses. But still, I got to do it.

It requires a lot of self-effort in order to be true with myself, and I really need it in order to become the person I want to be.

3. Persevering

As a shy person who used to simply follow what he was asked to do, I never built a strong shield that allowed me to persevere.

When someone is saying no to me, I instinctively don’t try to reply back in order to find a way to it into a yes.

With courage and commitment, you can do the unbelievable.

So my third and last task will be to improve this shield in order to always try one more time, and to push myself.

It is more an mental task than an actionable one, but I think that success has to both come from the mind and the body. Actions without thought will only lead to small resulst, and thought without actions will lead to nothing at all.

I have to continue to find solution, to test them and reach new people.

I know few people are going to read this because most will not read most of this article, but for the ones who are still reading this word, I wanted to thank you.

You are for sure an amazing person and I am sure you can accomplish wonderful things in this world.

During this article, I only talked about myself because what I know the best. I cannot talk about what I didn’t live or what people should do. Usually people talk in general without saying I, but I thought that explaining my problems and solutions could be useful for some people that may encounter the kind of same problems as I do.

Anyway, hope you enjoyed it and again, thank you very much :)
